  5. What To Expect From Westbury’s Free-of-Charge Filter Survey

In the realm of HVAC systems, the Air Handling Unit (AHU) plays a crucial role in maintaining indoor air quality and comfort within commercial and industrial spaces. Filtration is a critical aspect of the way in which an AHU performs, not only determining indoor air quality, but also protecting and prolonging the lifespan of other system components such as heating/cooling coils, attenuators and fans.

As such it is of vital importance that the filters selected are properly specified according to local conditions and the desired level of cleanliness within the facility. Needless to say, the fitment of the filters is also crucial, so as to avoid air bypass and unnecessary contamination.

    Comprehensive Inspection

A thorough inspection is the starting point of a survey of filtration requirements. Your nominated Westbury representative can arrange to review the filtration currently installed and help to spot any issues. These range from ill-fitting filters, to missing clips, damaged filters and incorrectly orientated products.

Alongside this trouble-shooting, we can also identify opportunities for improvements. These can deliver enormous benefits, such as reduced energy costs, lower filter consumables expenditure and reduced downtime, all whilst IMPROVING indoor air quality!

Filter Replacement and licensed waste disposal

When our engineers visit your site to survey, they will also review the change-out regime and can work with you to develop a schedule for optimum filter change point. In addition, Westbury can also offer qualified engineers capable of replacing your filters efficiently and effectively, before collecting and disposing of used filters under our waste carrier’s license.

Contact us today to book your free of charge site survey and filtration review to see what you could save.
